This rule applies to everybody - no one is allowed to start talking about their character's history unless they are explicitly asked first - and try not to make them too long - we don't want histories that take what seem like hours to tell.
To other staff members - I know this kind of thing is a concern, so I don't imagine any problem with this rule. If there is one, bring it up on the prestige wall.

FOr this rule: why can't we, discussing histories with other characters is part of character development and improv story writing. _______________ Or ___________

The rule was set forth because of certian people who have been known for starting to explain their character history and begin it afresh every time someone new comes along.
This is more for during combat when this kind of thing isn't appropriate. We'll bring it up at the next meeting to modify it if needed.
